Of all of the different ways I've learned to draw, I think simple gesture drawing is the most challenging for me. Deliberate lines, capturing everything in as few lines as possible - it's a cool exercise to do now and again. My girlfriend said yesterday's drawing should be called Vital Signs, I think of gesture or contour drawings as vital lines.
