This is kind of a funny image, it was taken from Governor’s Island. It’s a composite of Manhattan reflecting Brooklyn in the water before it. I’m amazed nobody catches the fact that a) the reflection doesn’t match the city above, and b) a body of water this vast and filled with the stirrings of tiny waves doesn’t reflect anything. I really like it.
