This is a part of a series I did while living in California. Education reform is a movement in the United States instigated by billionaires with the aim of privatizing and monetizing primary education. In effect, this turns the education of children into a for-profit business at the expense of any actual education. There are no benefits of this for students or educators, it is rampant in California, and it is spreading.
