bedazzled!

This picture was taken in a place where the rain is scarce – finding this leaf was like finding a hundred dollar bill lying in the street. I love the heart shape of it. I sold the image as a limited edition print for a time, and I had one person say that upon seeing it, after many years of difficulty and strife, that they believed in love again. At precisely that deeply humbling moment, I understood like never before how profoundly important art is to our lives and well-being. In seeing it, we see ourselves and our own infinite potential.
