There was a time when I was going to the circus a lot, the town I lived in even had a school for the circus arts. For me it was related to a story I was writing that had a circus family as its backdrop, and I was attending the performances gathering information, talking to the performers, and rounding out the details of my narrative. I got to see some amazing things and met some very amazing people.
