I saw this leaf on the ground after a rain shower, and was amazed by all of the intricacy at play – it was a valentine from the Earth and the heavens. Ironically what it brought to mind was the rebirth that springs from what was thought to be ashen and fallow – the fire of life contained in the cool of tiny droplets of water.

Thanks for taking a peek. :) It’s just one of those things: we open our eyes right where we are and an entirely new landscape appears, so to speak. That was at a time I was feeling very frustrated about many things, I really did feel like the earth dropped it right there just for me.
Love this! Another reminder to really LOOK at the world around us…it’s the small things, that make such a significant impact. :-)
